I weeded, I tilled, I planted, I watered.
And by "I", I mean my step dad did it.
I dont have the nerves to put so much love and work into something I am just going to kill. Or, that will be ravaged by small woodland creatures.
You want me to send him over? ;)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05528484098724947814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-961530480382578444.post-3823613272952020572010-06-01T15:26:29.601-05:002010-06-01T15:26:29.601-05:00This is such a great post!

I gardened a lot when I lived in Brooklyn- (now,I grow tomatoes on my fire escape so not worried about rabbits) I have used a product for years called Spray-N-Grow which is a super effective plant "vitamin". I mention it because the company that makes it also produces organic "deterrents" for garden pests.Check them out.Joe Ambrosinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14908037840920458689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-961530480382578444.post-48335507203532365592010-06-01T13:08:04.167-05:002010-06-01T13:08:04.167-05:00We usually plant tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, ja...We usually plant tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, jalapenos, beets, radishes, carrots, strawberries. I don't have any good suggestions on keeping the rodents out. We haven't had to deal with that. Our biggest problem is the squash bugs....of which I also don't know how to eradicate them. I have taken to bribing the children to go out and squash those squash bugs with rocks, 'cause I sure as heck ain't doing that.ZEKEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08574488411808308289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-961530480382578444.post-49758287389522265132010-06-01T10:13:41.227-05:002010-06-01T10:13:41.227-05:00No gardening here. We try not to get too worked up about it.GrandeMochahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16699172747237335700noreply@blogger.com
